We help individuals and families affected by spinal cord injuries with practical needs such as durable medical equipment, medical bill assistance, accessibility needs, resources, and encouragement.

We may be small, but our mission is personal: to help people feel supported, seen, and less alone after a spinal cord injury.

Nathan's story

Hi, my name is Nathan Powell. I'm living with a spinal cord injury due to being shot when I was 12, leaving me paralyzed from my chest down. My injury really took a toll on me mentally and physically but I got the support I needed to help me get through it. I started Nathan Powell Foundation, Inc to help others living with spinal cord injuries to achieve their goals and to live life to the fullest. I've learned over the years if you keep a strong positive attitude, you can get through anything.

Nathan Powell Foundation Inc. was started in 2022 by Nathan Powell. Historically, Nathan Powell has always had a passion for helping others. As a result, Nathan Powell Foundation, Inc. was founded as a way of giving back and helping others living with spinal injuries so they can live life to the fullest. Nathan Powell Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Missouri
