Information We Collect
We may collect information you voluntarily provide through donation, contact, Individual Assistance Program application, or email-signup forms. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, state of residence, mailing or billing information, donation details, and the limited information you provide about an assistance request.
Our Individual Assistance Program application is hosted through the Foundation’s Google Workspace account using Google Forms. It may collect contact details, location, request category, a brief description, estimated cost, vendor or provider information, other-program status, timing, and an applicant certification. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, banking information, passwords, insurance identification numbers, detailed medical histories, or complete medical records through the application, website, or email.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Review and respond to Individual Assistance Program applications
- Process donations and provide receipts
- Respond to questions and messages
- Share updates when a supporter has requested them
- Maintain responsible organizational records
- Protect the security and integrity of our website
Donations and Givebutter
Online donations are processed through Givebutter. Payment information is handled by Givebutter and its payment providers under their own privacy and security practices. Nathan Powell Foundation does not directly store complete payment-card information on this website.
Website Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. When enabled, this service may collect information such as pages visited, general device and browser information, referring websites, and approximate geographic information.
We use this information to improve the website and understand which pages and resources are most helpful. We do not intentionally send assistance-application responses or complete payment-card information to Google Analytics. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.
Sharing and Retention
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us process donations, operate the website, communicate with supporters, host and manage Individual Assistance Program applications, or review a request for assistance. We may also disclose information when required by law.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for our charitable, operational, legal, and recordkeeping purposes.
